Steve Brink
Vice President of Public Resources
Steve was born and raised in Placerville, California and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, at U.C. Davis in 1971. He went on to study Forest and Logging Engineering at Oregon State University.
Steve worked in engineering and forest planning with the U.S. Forest Service for 37 years with 10 moves across the country before retiring as Deputy Regional Forester for Alaska in 2005. Steve has worked as Vice President of Public Resources for the California Forestry Association since 2005, focusing on working with National Forests to increase the pace and scale of vegetation management. Steve also works on behalf of the Calforests membership in federal statutes, rules, and appropriations, and California Air Resources Board truck rules and carbon protocols.
Steve has had a passion for caring for the land and serving people throughout his career.
