HUMBOLDT STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS BREAKDOWN FOREST POLICY

In our ongoing efforts to support the next generation of professional foresters, Calforests partnered with Humboldt State University forestry students and asked for them to analyze three key forestry related bills that were proposed during the 2017 legislative session – AB 362 on forest health, AB 425 on fuel reduction and AB 920 on biomass.  Students divided into pairs to analyze the  impact on California forests.  Calforests and HSU Professor, Dr. Erin Kelly, chose one winning synopsis for each bill for publication on the Calforests blog.  We hope it helps increase your understanding of forest policy.  Congratulations to the students who were selected.
